Use of data when using seminargo.com services

Information that the user can provide within his profile is not mandatory. If the user enters data and sends it to third parties, this is voluntary. This applies in particular to user entries for booking events. Even in this instance, the user must comply with all data protection requirements. Information provided voluntarily during registration or when using the seminargo.com services can be deleted by the user at any time.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Personal data of the user will only be passed on to third parties to the extent that it corresponds to the possibilities of the user on the seminargo.com websites. Any further passing on of the user's personal data shall only be considered if there is a legal obligation to do so or if it is necessary to enforce seminargo.com's rights, in particular, to enforce claims arising from the contractual relationship.

Information security and passwords

All websites are encrypted using SSL, depending on the browser used, using 256-bit SSL. seminargo.com uses technical and organisational measures to protect its websites and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. Access to the user account is only possible after entering the personal password. The password to the seminargo.com account is only stored encrypted. The user must keep the password safe from access by third parties. The user should close the browser window when communication with seminargo.com has ended, especially when the computer in question is shared with others.
If the password has been forgotten, the user can request a link to a seminargo.com website via the function ‘Forget password?’ sent to the known e-mail address, where a new password can be assigned. Seminargo.com will not pass the password on to third parties and will never ask the user for the password.

Revocation of consent, objection to advertising, market research or opinion research

If the use of personal data is based on the user’s consent, this can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. This can be done by email to the address  datenschutz@seminargo.com. The revocation of the consent can lead to the fact that services are no longer available or the user relationship on seminargo.com is terminated. Seminargo.com reserves the right to support data protection legal procedures at any time on a legal basis. The user can also object to the use of his data for marketing, advertising or research purposes at any time – the easiest way is to send an email to datenschutz@seminargo.com. Seminargo.com will point out the possibility of objection to the user with each use or provide a simple cancellation option (e.g. as a link).
