The VAM Design Center is located in the newly renovated Kiraly street just about 200 meters from Deák Ferenc tér Central Metro Station in the VI. District, downtown Budapest. The net 5000 m2 exhibit and event place expects visitors from 2007 september and welcomes professional and commercial fairs, art exhibitions, conferences, gives home for creating intellectual products and promotes the newest international design trends. In the VAM Design Center the basement, the ground floor, the courtyard and two levels supply the opportunities to arrange fairs, conferences, art exhibitions, work-shops, press-conferences, receptions and parties. With the particular atmosphere of the rustic basement gallery already has given home for numerous events, such as Bodies The Exhibition and Da Vinci The Genius. The multicultural building complex proudly presents its own permanent collection: the collection with more than 100 remarkable pieces of design history collected by Miklos Vincze owner.
